Kristina Schmunk Kraaz

Kristina joined the firm in January 2016. She graduated from Oregon State University with an honors degree in environmental engineering before attending law school at the University of Oregon, where she graduated Order of the Coif in December 2014. In law school, Kristina served as an Environmental and Natural Resources Law Fellow for the Willamette Water 2100 Project, an interdisciplinary project combining legal and engineering expertise to aid policy-makers in long term planning in the Willamette
River Basin. Prior to joining the firm, Kristina clerked for the Honorable Karsten H. Rasmussen, Presiding Judge of the Lane County Circuit Court.

Kristina was born and raised in Springfield and is excited to be working for the citizens of her hometown. When not working, Kristina loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and extended family. On a sunny weekend, she is likely to be found hiking along the McKenzie River, camping on the Oregon Coast, or simply enjoying one of the many wonderful parks in Springfield.
